Normally a staple of the American springtime, this year’s Masters Tournament will tee off on Thursday, November 12 as a result of schedule changes brought about by the coronavirus pandemic.
While that means the trademark flora surrounding the fairways and greens at Augusta National might look a little different, we can expect the same top-shelf golf we see every year at North America’s most prestigious major tournament.
On the back of his powerhouse performance at the US Open in September, Bryson DeChambeau tops the 2020 US Masters betting at +800.
The burly American has sought to add even more yardage to his game since his comprehensive victory at Winged Foot, so it will be interesting to see how approaches the fabled Augusta layout.

The usual suspects fill out the first few lines of the Masters 2020 outright betting, with Dustin Johnson (+900), Jon Rahm (+1000) and Justin Thomas (+1100) all in the mix.
Xander Schauffele is in good company at the +1400 quote, where Brooks Koepka is aiming to go one better than last year and Rory McIlroy is looking to end a six-year drought in the majors.
Those seven players make up a clearly defined group of likely contenders, with Patrick Cantlay and Hideki Matsuyama the next best in the US Masters golf betting markets at +2500 apiece.
Tigers Woods is the defending champion, but the 15-time major winner is well back in the pack at +4000 alongside 2013 Masters champ Adam Scott.
Some other notables in the field include Bubba Watson (+2800), Patrick Reed (+3000), Collin Morikawa (+3300), Jason Day (+3500), Jordan Spieth (+6600) and Phil Mickelson (+10000).
He is yet to win the Green Jacket, but DJ’s consistency at Augusta over the past few years cannot be ignored. Since 2015, the talented Carolinian has not missed the top 10 once (although he sat out in 2017 due to injury). He tied for second last year and should be there or thereabouts once again, so make sure you put this one in your Masters parlays.
Adam Scott might be the only Aussie to win the Masters, but his fellow Queenslander has him covered on recent form around Georgia’s most famous track. Day has never missed a cut at Augusta, finishing in the top 10 on four of his eight attempts since 2011. A solid tied-seventh at the Houston Open last week sets him up well for this.
Recent history shows that outright favourites very rarely win at Augusta, so we’re looking just beyond the top few in the betting. People talk a lot about Rory’s Masters misses, but they often fail to mention that he made the top 10 five years running from 2014 to 2018. The Irishman ticks a lot of boxes and might just flourish with no galleries to remind him of his past failures.
