Caesars is the first gaming company to partner up with teams in both the NHL and the NBA.
Caesars Entertainment has put pen to paper on partnership agreements with the NHL’s New Jersey Devils and the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers.
Both franchises are owned by Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE).
The deal makes Caesars the first gaming company to have affiliations with teams in two of the major US sports leagues.
As part of the agreement, the Nevada-based gambling giant will open the Caesars Club Premier Lounge restaurant and bar on the main concourse of New Jersey’s Prudential Center.
“Caesars Entertainment has enjoyed a long relationship with the New Jersey community,” said Chris Holden, Chief Marketing Officer at Caesars.

“With the introduction of the Caesars Club Sports Lounge, we’re excited to expand our relationship and deliver our world-class hospitality and entertainment in a new part of the Golden State.”
This is just the latest in a series of partnerships between gambling companies and sports franchises to emerge since the US Supreme Court overturned the nationwide ban on sports betting earlier this year.
On Monday, the NHL announced MGM Resorts as the league’s first official wagering partner.
The New Jersey Devils already had a deal in place with British bookmaker William Hill, which has also drummed up business with the Vegas Golden Knights.
