Real Madrid vs Union Berlin

Real Madrid have a very winnable game to open their Champions League journey. The Spanish giants are one of the favourites to win this tournament, and they have been playing very well in La Liga, winning all five games to date. A big reason for that success is their key summer signing, Jude Bellingham. He has already contributed five goals for Real, and despite being a central midfielder, he is a significant part of their attack. Take him to score again as los Blancos cruise to victory.

This is an interesting matchup between two teams that have stumbled out of the gates this season. That being said, we have no qualms about siding with the home team, Sevilla. RC Lens have one point through five games in the French Ligue Un and have given up over two goals per game. They are playing terribly in defence, and we expect Sevilla to take advantage.

Real Sociedad vs Internazionale

Last year’s UCL runners-up, Inter Milan, are back and playing at a very high level. In the Italian Serie A, Inter have won all four games and have a goal difference of +12. Real Sociedad have a solid team, but they sit in eighth place in La Liga and are not at the level of Inter, so the value is very much with the visiting side.

SC Braga vs Napoli

Victor Osimhen, the 24-year-old Napoli striker, burst onto the scene in the 2022-2023 Champions League with five goals in six matches. This season, he already has three goals from Napoli’s four Serie A matches, and he looks a good bet to add to that tally this week. Braga are a solid team, but they have conceded 10 goals in five Portuguese Primeira Liga games and should struggle to limit Napoli’s opportunities in this contest.
