Quarter-final victories do not come anymore commanding than the 4-0 demolition job that England did on Ukraine in Rome. It was the Harry Kane show in the capital of Italy as England’s captain found the back of the net on two occasions (4’, 50’) to help seal their spot in the last four. England managed to put three goals on Ukraine in the opening 20 minutes of the second half, with Harry Maguire (46’) and Jordan Henderson (63’) finding the back of the net from set pieces either side of Kane’s second goal.
With a full squad to choose from, it would be surprising to see Gareth Southgate change the starting line-up for the Denmark clash. Jadon Sancho was handed a first start of Euro 2020 and showed glimpses of his talent, whilst Luke Shaw was superb with two assists in the win against Ukraine. With Henderson edging closer to full fitness, Southgate has to decide whether he brings the Liverpool captain into the starting line-up or sticks with the less experienced duo of Declan Rice and Kalvin Phillips in the middle.

Denmark look like a similar opponent as Croatia did to England in the 2018 World Cup semi finals, and that alone will give Three Lions fans something to think about. He has been dubbed by many as the best left-back at the tournament, and on recent form it is hard to argue against that claim.
