The Formula One season continues this weekend with the highly anticipated Australian Grand Prix — the 26th edition around Melbourne’s Albert Park track.
Defending champion Max Verstappen has continued his stellar form across the opening two races of the season, leading from start to finish in both Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. His Red Bull teammate, Sergio Perez, has also had a great start to the season, posting second-place finishes in each race.
While Verstappen and Perez are heavily favoured once again, keep an eye out for the likes of Ferrari duo Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc, who will both be threatening for pole position. There are also plenty of exciting battles across the grid as Mercedes, McLaren and Aston Martin each battle it out for the remaining places in the points.
Verstappen continues as heavy favourite for this race as he searches for his second consecutive win at the venue. Perez is the closest contender, while the Ferraris are the best of the rest and could offer value for a podium finish.

Verstappen has already completed a grand slam this season, claiming pole position and the fastest lap en route to victory in Bahrain. If, as expected, he starts from the front again in Melbourne, the Red Bull star can extend his opening stint on the track and ensure he has a lighter car with fresher tyres heading into the back end of the race. Another treble would be no surprise at all.
A consistently strong qualifier, Leclerc has started on the front row in both races this season. Sitting in third place in the drivers’ championship, the Monegasque star earned a podium in Saudi Arabia and is favoured to do so once again with top F1 betting sites.
After a finishing fourth in Saudi Arabia, Oscar Piastri should be full of confidence heading into his home race. Working alongside Lando Norris, who has run eighth and sixth so far, McLaren offer decent value with online bookmakers for both to finish inside the top six.
