The Kansas City Chiefs head to the Windy City to face the disappointing Chicago Bears on Sunday primetime in NFL Week 16.
The Chiefs are hot winners of four in a row and five of their last six games. KC are third in the AFC and one game back of the New England Patriots, who they beat a few weeks back. If the Pats lose to the Buffalo Bills this week, the Chiefs can overtake them and get a bye in the first round of the 2019 NFL Playoffs.

The Bears had their three-game win streak snapped last week and dropped out of the playoff race. They have been a disappointment this season and the main reason is their offense, which only ranks 26th in the league with an average of 18.3 ppg.
While the Chiefs are known for Patrick Mahomes and a dynamic offense, they have only given up 19 points in their last two games. Their D was great in their last game, which was a 23-3 win over the Denver Broncos.
The Bears put up a fight in Green Bay in their last game but lost 21-13. They outgained the Packers 415 yards to 292 yards, but they had three turnovers and forced none.
The Chiefs held the Broncos to 251 yards and only allowed 52 rushing yards. Mahomes passed for 340 yards with two touchdowns and an interception and star TE Travis Kelse had a big game with 142 receiving yards.
The Chiefs are spreading the load between a few different RBs at the moment. They rushed for 92 yards against the Broncos, with Darwin Thompson racking up a team-high 38 rushing yards.

Chicago have a solid defense but not a great one like last season. Their ‘weakness’ on that side of the ball is their 13th-ranked pass defense. If they cannot keep Mahomes from having a big game, the Bears and their poor offense are in trouble.
Mitchell Trubisky passed for 332 yards with a touchdown in the loss to the Packers, but he also had two interceptions and three sacks. David Montgomery led the squad with 39 rushing yards, only averaging 2.8 yards per carry.
Trubisky and Montgomery had been playing well for a couple of games before their difficult day against the Packers. Both have to perform in this game, which will be no easy task against an in-form KC defense.

The Chiefs head into this game with a lot still to play for. Mahomes will put on a show and the Kansas City defense will have another solid game. The Chiefs will win handily and cover the spread on the road.
