Kerber provides brilliant US Open value after Wimbledon win

Angelique Kerber won her first Wimbledon title on Saturday from the All England Club, helping her backers cash in.

Kerber and Caroline Wozniacki will likely be the players that rival for this year’s title at New York. The Dane has twice made the Flushing Meadows final and she has a Grand Slam on the cement from Melbourne Park this season. Wozniacki and Kerber both promise to be very high seeds in the event as both have ample ranking points banked.
