Kindred Group enters PA with Mohegan Sun Pocono partnership

Kindred Group and Mohegan Sun Pocono have reached a five-year partnership deal, with an option to extend for two additional five-year terms.

With this arrangement, Kindred can provide offline and online sports betting as well as real money casino gaming via the Unibet brand.

“We’ve aligned with one of the best online casino and sportsbook operators in regulated online markets, which will allow us to offer a best-in-class experience to our existing customers as well as attracting new ones,” said Aviram Alroy, VP Interactive Gaming at Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment.

The partnership with Mohegan Sun Pocono makes Pennsylvania the second US state in which Kindred has launched operations.

The Scandinavian firm has also signed deals with Kambi, Scientific Games and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City in the state of New Jersey.

It now seeks to expand American operations “where market conditions support a sustainable business model” and added that the deal with Mohegan Sun would also help with the regulatory and licensing process in Pennsylvania.
