NFL Week 11 sees the New England Patriots head to the City of Brotherly Love to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in a rematch of Super Bowl LII.
The Pats have had a long time to get over their first loss of the season in their previous game, as they are coming off a bye week.
The Eagles are also coming off a bye after winning two games in a row. With the Dallas Cowboys’ loss last Sunday night, the Eagles are now tied with the Texan giants atop the NFC East and do not face them again until the second-last game of the season.

The Patriots were beaten badly in their first defeat of the 2019 NFL season, losing 37-20 to the Baltimore Ravens. Their defense could not contain Lamar Jackson and they were slaughtered by the Ravens’ run game, giving up 210 rushing yards.
The Eagles beat the Chicago Bears 22-14 in their most recent outing. While their defense has played well in the last two games, the wins came against two of the weakest offenses in the NFL in the Bears and the Buffalo Bills.
The Pats gave up 210 rushing yards in the loss to Baltimore. The wind was taken out of their sails in the beginning of the second half when the Ravens scooped up a fumble and took it 70 yards for a score to go up by 11 points. Tom Brady was 30/46 for 285 yards with a touchdown and an interception, while Julian Edelman and Mohammed Sanu combined for 170 receiving yards.
The Pats did not have much balance in the game, as they only had 17 run plays and only rushed for 74 yards. Sony Michel leads the team in rushing yards, and he only had 18 yards against the Ravens after going for 74 in his previous game.
The Eagles have one of the best run defenses in the NFL and rank in the middle of the pack in pass defense. Their secondary has played well in the last few games after getting torched in the first few weeks.
The Philly defense really stepped up in their last game, holding Chicago to only 164 total yards. The Eagles had good balance in the game with 227 passing yards and 146 rushing yards and held the Bears to 2/10 on third down.

Carson Wentz passed for 239 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions in the win over Chicago. He has not been putting up big numbers in the last three games. The Eagles have been trying to establish the run with Jordan Howard and rank a respectable 11th in the league in rushing yards per game.
Howard has rushed for 82 and 96 yards, respectively, in his last two games and you can be sure he will get his carries this Sunday facing a New England run defense that gave up over 200 rushing yards in their last game.
Wentz has a big test against a Patriots pass defense that ranks second in the league. He will have to contend with the duo of Devin McCourty and Stephon Gilmore, who have combined for eight interceptions.

The Eagles are coming off a bye and have not faced a team with a good offense in four weeks. They have lost their last two games facing good offensive teams, and that trend will continue this weekend. Bill Belichick will have fixed the issues that cost the Pats against Baltimore and Tom Brady will have a good game as New England win and cover on the road.
