2020 Super Bowl odds: Pats and Chiefs lead the way
It is no surprise that the New England Patriots (+550 at Bovada) have the best NFL betting lines to win the Super Bowl this season. They have been to the big game three years in a row, but the Kansas City Chiefs will be in the mix in the AFC and four of the top five teams in Super Bowl betting are in that conference.
The Patriots have lost star TE Rob Gronkowski, but the offense should still be OK with Brady and last season’s Super Bowl MVP, Julian Edelman. They picked up WR Demaryius Thomas in the off-season and the defense, which ranked 23rd last season, has a lot of new faces.

The Chiefs (+750) came oh so close to the Super Bowl last season behind MVP Patrick Mahomes. Star WR Tyreek Hill has been in hot water with his off-the-field issues, but Mahomes still has a lot of weapons. The defense ranked 31st in the league last season and that will be the issue for Kansas City.
The New Orleans Saints have the offense with Drew Brees, WR Michael Thomas, and Alvin Kamara as well as a good young defense. The team needs more WR help and did not do much in the off-season to address those needs. Still, behind Brees it is Super Bowl or bust for this season’s team.
Andrew Luck won Comeback Player of the Year last season and the Indianapolis Colts (+1300) have high hopes going forward. The young defense ranked 11th in the league last season and they hope veteran off-season addition Justin Houston can help the pass rush.
The Cleveland Browns (+1350) have solid 2020 Super Bowl odds even though they have not been to the playoffs for 16 straight seasons. Baker Mayfield had a solid rookie campaign and they traded for star WR Odell Beckham Jr. This is an up-and-coming team that will be exciting to watch this season.
The Los Angeles Rams (+1350) won the NFC last season and have stars Jared Goff and Todd Gurley leading the offense. Aaron Donald leads a defense that ranked 19th in the league last season. As NFC winners, the Rams play a killer schedule this season.
The Chicago Bears (+1500) were a surprise last season, but can they get back to the NFL Playoffs in a tough NFC North division? LB Khalil Mack had a great first season in Chicago, leading a defense that ranked third in the NFL, and Mitchell Trubisky was pretty good and has to be better in his third season at QB for the Bears to go all the way.

The Philadelphia Eagles (+1675) and the Green Bay Packers (+1900) both have pretty good Super Bowl LIV odds, but their seasons hinge on if Carson Wentz and Aaron Rodgers can stay healthy.
The Los Angeles Chargers (+1800) have a good young team and a veteran QB in Phillip Rivers, but team health is an issue. They had a top-10 defense last season that may be better this season if Joey Bosa can stay on the field.
The Minnesota Vikings (+2500), Dallas Cowboys (+2600), Pittsburgh Steelers (+2700), and Atlanta Falcons (+3200) have decent NFL betting lines for the Super Bowl, but all have big questions to answer this season. Can the Steelers get back to being an elite team with WR Antonio Brown and RB Le’Veon Bell no longer on the squad? Can Kirk Cousins guide the Vikings back to the playoffs after failing to do so in his first year with the club after signing a huge contract? Can the Falcons and Matt Ryan rebound from a disappointing 2018-19 after reaching the Super Bowl the previous season?
