Free NFL betting picks, touchdown scorer tips and predictions for Carolina Panthers at Chicago Bears on Thursday, November 9.
The NFL’s Week 10 edition of Thursday Night Football features a game between two of the worst teams in the league as the 2-7 Chicago Bears host the 1-7 Carolina Panthers. Neither of these teams have much going for them, but their horrible defenses could lead to a bit of a shootout. Below are our top NFL betting picks for this Thursday night feature.
When it comes down to it, neither of these teams can be trusted, and both squads are capable of derailing their chances through mistakes. As a result, we will stick with the underdogs. The Bears have one of the worst pass defenses in the league, and this struggling Carolina offense has a chance to put up some points. Although the Panthers’ defense isn’t much better, they are capable of limiting a struggling Chicago offense and keeping this game close.
Adam Thielen, the 33-year-old wide receiver for the Panthers, is having his best season since 2020, and a large part of that is due to him being the only legitimate target in this Carolina offense. Quarterback Bryce Young has struggled to get anyone else involved, and as a result, Thielen is eighth in the league in targets per game. The Bears have given up a league-high 20 passing touchdowns this year, and Thielen should add to that in this contest.
Miles Sanders was a big-money free-agent signing for the Panthers, but the veteran running back has struggled this year. However, last weekend Sanders returned from injury and rushed for 39 yards. While he is the backup, he is earning more carries and is more talented than the starter, Chuba Hubbard. Sanders should hit the over in this game as he continues to regain the trust of his coaching staff.
Tight end Cole Kmet has been one of the few bright spots on a struggling Chicago offense this season. After a slow start, Kmet has caught five touchdowns in his last five games. Against a struggling Panthers defense, Kmet should continue to be the main target around the goal line. With NFL betting sites offering +300 for Kmet to score a touchdown, the value is too good to pass up.
