The Los Angeles Rams are in desperation mode in NFL Week 14 as they host the Seattle Seahawks, who they lost to by a point early in the season.
The Seahawks are hot winners of five in a row and took control of the NFC West with the San Francisco 49ers losing their last game. Seattle are now tied at 10-2 with San Fran and the New Orleans Saints atop the conference standings, but they beat the 49ers earlier in the year and host them at home in their season finale.

The Rams are three games back of the Seahawks and 49ers in the NFC West but only trail the Minnesota Vikings by one game for the last NFC Wild Card. They have won two of their last three games, holding their opponents to only seven points in each. The one loss in that run was a crushing 45-6 defeat to the high-flying Baltimore Ravens.
The Seahawks are a perfect 6-0 at home this season and the Rams are 3-3 at home. LA are 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games against Seattle.
The Rams are coming off a 34-7 blowout win over the Arizona Cardinals. Their only win of the season against a team with a winning record came in Week 2 when they beat the Saints.
The ground game was key in Seattle’s 37-30 win over the Minnesota Vikings last time out. The Seahawks rushed for 218 yards while holding Dalvin Cook and Minnesota to only 78 rushing yards.
Russell Wilson passed for 240 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in that game, while Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny combined to rush for 176 yards. Carson only rushed for 26 yards in the previous game, has the eighth-most rushing yards in the league, and rushed for 119 yards against the Rams earlier this season.
Wilson is still in the MVP race and has 26 touchdowns and only four interceptions. However, three of those picks came in the last three games, and in that span he has four TDs.

The Rams racked up 549 yards against the Cardinals while only giving up 198 yards. Jared Goff went off with 424 passing yards for two touchdowns and no interceptions after throwing five picks and no touchdowns in his previous three games.
Robert Woods had 172 receiving yards in the win over Arizona, Tyler Higbee had 107 receiving yards, and Todd Gurley rushed for 95 yards and a score at five yards per carry. Gurley has not had a good season but has come on strong of late, rushing for at least 95 yards in two of his last three games.
The key to that result was an LA defense that ranks 10th in the league against the pass and 13th against the run. Seattle’s Legion of Boom is long gone, as their pass defense now ranks a lowly 29th.
Seattle Seahawks -1 at -111.11 with Bovada
The Rams are coming off a blowout win, but it was facing a Cardinals side at well under .500 for the season. The Seahawks, meanwhile, have reeled off four straight wins, with three of them coming against teams in the playoff race. The Rams will put up a fight, but Wilson and the Seattle run game will be the difference as the Seahawks win and cover on the road.
