The thrilling 2023/24 Serie A season continues this weekend with 10 matches of top-level Italian football. Here are our free soccer betting picks for Matchday 25.
Friday, February 16 – 7pm CET – Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino
On a six-match unbeaten run, Torino and their stellar defence have worked their way up into the top half of the table. Looking to continue their streak, they now welcome a Lecce outfit that has won just one of its past eight matches. Winners of the past four encounters between the sides, Torino should be coming in full of confidence as they look to maintain their strong defensive record.
Friday, February 16 – 9pm CET – Stadio Giuseppe Meazza
Sitting seven points clear at the top with a game in hand, Inter Milan have continued to showcase their ability each week as they chase the Scudetto. Facing the last-placed Salernitana, it should be business as usual for Inter. Keep an eye out for Serie A leading scorer Lautaro Martinez, who should be adding to his 19-goal tally for the season.
Saturday, February 17 – 3pm CET – Stadio Diego Armando Maradona
After going down to AC Milan last weekend, Napoli’s top-six chances took a major hit as they fell down to ninth on the table. Needing to bounce back, they face a tricky matchup against Genoa — who, prior to their loss to Atalanta last weekend, had gone eight matches unbeaten. After their 2-2 draw earlier in the season, Genoa have only improved, so expect both sides to get on the scoresheet again.
Saturday, February 17 – 6pm CET – Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi
Juventus have gone winless in their last three matches to fall completely out of the title race, with their position in second now seriously under threat. Facing relegation contender Hellas Verona, expect Juve to bounce back and lift some of the pressure. Without injured striker Dusan Vlahovic, Juventus are likely to focus their attack around Federico Chiesa, who offers great value as a goalscorer.
Saturday, February 17 – 8:45pm CET – Gewiss Stadium
Losing just one of their past nine, Atalanta have established their position in the top four with their incredible attacking performances. Hosting the 17th-placed Sassuolo, who are winless in their past four, expect Atalanta to continue on their excellent run. With the odds heavily skewed towards the home side, look to add the over as the Atalanta attack meets one of the worst defences in the competition.
Sunday, February 18 – 12:30pm CET – Stadio Olimpico
On a run of four matches unbeaten, Bologna are putting the pressure on the teams above them as they chase a top-four spot. In an exciting matchup this weekend, they head to Rome to face the seventh-placed Lazio. At home, Lazio have won their past four Serie A matches, and after a spirited performance against Bayern Munich midweek they should be full of confidence. A tough one to pick, back both sides to get on the scoreboard in a thrilling clash.
Sunday, February 18 – 3pm CET – Stadio Carlo Castellani
On a run of four matches unbeaten, Empoli have finally worked their way out of the relegation zone after their 3-1 win over Salernitana. Looking to continue their good stretch, this weekend they face the vulnerable Fiorentina, who have won just once in 2024. While the home side doesn’t have the quality of Fiorentina, the form and home-ground advantage point to a potential upset.
Sunday, February 18 – 3pm CET – Bluenergy Stadium
Following their incredible upset win away at Juventus last weekend, Udinese have now jumped out of the relegation spots. Facing fellow relegation contender Cagliari, Udinese have an excellent chance to collect consecutive wins for the first time this season. With Cagliari coming off four straight losses, it is hard to see them causing an upset here.
Sunday, February 18 – 6pm CET – Stadio Benito Stirpe
After their run of three consecutive victories was brought to an end in a competitive 4-2 loss to Inter last weekend, Roma will be looking to get back on the winners’ list as they head to Frosinone. The worst defensive side in the league, Frosinone have been a part of some high-scoring thrillers, and this game could fall into that category. Back Roma to win, and look for extra value in both teams getting on the scoreboard.
Sunday, February 18 – 8:45pm CET – U-Power Stadium
Now sitting just one point behind Juventus in second place, AC Milan will be looking to put the pressure on as they continue their nine-match unbeaten run. On the road facing the 11th-placed Monza on Sunday, Milan will be looking to continue their seven-match winning streak after their 3-0 win against them earlier in the season. Look for Milan to create plenty of chances, with Portuguese winger Rafael Leao likely to continue his excellent form on the left.
