Tennis: Alcaraz favoured for three of four Grand Slams in 2025

The Spaniard heads the early betting for the French Open, US Open and Wimbledon.

Tennis bookmakers have installed Carlos Alcaraz as an early favourite for three of the four Grand Slams in 2025.

The 21-year-old claimed two majors in 2024, winning the French Open and Wimbledon to extend his overall Grand Slam total to four.

Bovada has him as a favourite to win the French Open (+150) and Wimbledon (+130) again in 2025, while he is joint favourite (+200) to lift the US Open trophy for the second time as well.

The Australian Open is the only major where Alcaraz is not the outright favourite with most tennis betting sites.

Novak Djokovic is paying +200 to salute once again in Melbourne, while Alcaraz (+250) sits just behind Jannik Sinner (+240) in the market.

Sinner is expected to be the Spaniard’s primary competition in 2025, with the Italian also claiming two majors — the Australian Open and US Open — this year.

He is second-favourite to win the French Open (+300) and Wimbledon (+225) and sits level with Alcaraz in the US Open odds.

Despite failing to win a major in 2024, Djokovic is a regular among the top three lines of betting for next year’s Grand Slams.

World No.2 Alexander Zverev also sits prominently in the Grand Slam odds for 2025, ranking among the top four or five in the market for every major.

Of the up-and-coming players on the ATP Tour, Jack Draper is given the best chance of making a significant breakthrough in the upcoming season.

The Brit is sixth in the Australian Open title odds (+3300), 10th in French Open odds (+5000), fourth in Wimbledon odds (+1400) and seventh in US Open odds (+2500).
